Nike Dunk Ceramic Sneakers by Kang S.Lee

Kang S. Lee is a Korean artist living and working in Mexico City, Mexico. He has created a new series of sculptures paying homage to the Nike Dunk sneaker. The final series will consist of 50 to 100 pieces and he is considering the Vans Original, Converse, and Adidas Superstar for his next projects.

This is a really comprehensive and detailed Gyakusou premier video recap that recently went down at Nike Stadium Milano. We really enjoyed watching how Nike layed out the place with the history of their “air” technology. One of our favorite bits was the Waffle to go stand in front of the venue (we love food!).

Who doesn’t love superman and i am sure everyone is aware of the Nike Zoom Huarache Superman Trainer that was previewed awhile back. Today we come bearing good news as this particular shoe drops for all you Superhero fans out there. The shoe spots a Deep Royal upper with Sport Red and Varsity Maize accents, just like superman himself.

Nike x BR Dunk Pack

Brazilian sneaker blog SneakersBR hooked up with Nike to celebrate the new version of their website with the release of a dunk pack consisting of 5 colorways. Why 5 different colors? Each color actually represents a region of their home country. The pack is called “Espalhando Cultura Sneaker Pelo Brasil” (Spreading Sneaker Culture Throughout Brazil) and is limited to friends and family as they only made 12 pairs of each colorway. Each sneaker comes in a special nylon bag with matching t-shirt, five pairs of laces, metallic lacelock with the SneakersBR logo and an illustrated graphic by Brazilian graffiti artist Popo on the insole (which is one of my favorite bits of the sneaker.

Nike x DJ A-Trak (Make Something!!!! Music Workshop)

The latest teacher at the Nike x Make Something!! workshop was DJ A-Trak from Fools Gold. This workshop is part of the World Basketball Festival campaign and was held at the Bowery Stadium. I really enjoyed watching this video because seeing a bunch of teens work, connect and have fun while creating music with a prolific DJ in the industry is really inspiring.
